We had such a good plan for sight seeing today, get up early to climb the Duomo (before it got too hot or our feet got tired), then go to the early to join the long queue.
We arrived at the Duomo at 8:30 and were bitterly disappointed to see it didn't open til 10am. So we thought we would bring the visit to the Uffizi forward. When we got to the Uffizi it was crazy, people everywhere! One line to buy tickets then another line after you had your tickets. We decided we didn't need to see any more Madonna and Child paintings today and thought we would visit the Palazzo Signoria/Vecchio. This also had a tower you could climb. To be continued....
