After uneventful flights, we have managed to get ourselves to Milano Centrale station and we are now waiting to board our fast train to Venice.
Mick didn't need to resort to sleeping tablets as he found watching Tom Cruise's new movie did the trick! He fell asleep watching it, not once but twice, and barely made it through the 3rd sitting (which is quite amazing given the movie was based off a novel of one of his favourite authors).
My inflight entertainment consisted of trying to get the screen ahead if me to stop flickering, which after a number of resets managed to stay clear long enough for me to watch an entire film before it decided to go back to its familiar tricks.
Anyway we best get on board our train. Next stop Venezia!
